How to Install the Extension

To Install the Extension
  1. Go to Marketplace → Select All Extension → Search for ExchangeRateLog - Auto Currency Exchange Rate Updater for Zoho CRM.
  2. Click on Install.
  3. Agree to the Terms & Conditions and Authorize ExchangeRateLog - Auto Currency Exchange Rate Updater for Zoho CRM Extension to access and process your data as required and click on Continue.

  1. Select one of the following options and click on Confirm
  1. Once the extension is Installed successfully, a authorization pop-up screen will open. Kindly click on Authorize.
    1. Click on checkbox and complete the authorization.
    2. Click on Finish.

How to use the ExchangeRateLog - Auto Currency Exchange Rate Updater for Zoho CRM Extension

Verify Base Currency in Zoho CRM

  1. Go to Zoho CRM → Settings → Company Settings →Currencies.
  2. Ensure that your Base Currency is correctly configured, as all exchange rates are fetched relative to this currency.
  3. Activate the currencies you want to be automatically updated.
Automatic Exchange Rate Updates
  1. The extension fetches real-time exchange rates at scheduled intervals.
  2. All active currencies in Zoho CRM are updated automatically based on the latest available rates.
  3. No manual import, export, or user action is required after installation.


View Exchange Rate Update History

  1. Navigate to the ExchangeRateLog History module in Zoho CRM.

  2. Each record contains:

    • Base currency

    • Target currency

    • Exchange rate

    • Date and time of update

  3. This ensures complete transparency and supports auditing and compliance needs.


Monitoring & Troubleshooting
  1. Review the ExchangeRateLog_History module to confirm successful updates.
  2. If a currency is not updating, verify that it is marked as Active in Zoho CRM.
  3. Ensure your CRM users have permission to access the ExchangeRateLog_History module.

  1. For any issues or queries, contact the help desk using the support details provided in the extension listing.
  2. Include your Zoho CRM Organization ID and a brief description of the issue for faster resolution.

Uninstalling the Extension

To uninstall the extension:
  1. Navigate to Marketplace → Installed.
  2. Locate ExchangeRateLog - Auto Currency Exchange Rate Updater for Zoho CRM and click Uninstall.
The extension will be removed from your Zoho CRM account.

Note: 
Uninstalling the extension will remove all fields added by the extension along with their data. Existing records in your Zoho CRM account will remain intact; only the extension related fields and their associated data will be deleted.
